I was fortunate enough to have a week off for Christmas from work so I wanted to surprise Parmida with a little getaway that was close to home so we can still have time to do other things we can't do while I'm at work, but see somewhere we haven't been before.
So I did some research and booked a little stay-cation for San Diego.
We stayed at Hotel Z located Downtown SD, which is also called Gaslamp Quarter.
Gaslamp Quarter to me is where everything happens you have some fantastic restaurants to sports bars.
Not to mention the beautiful view of the ocean minutes from where ever you are.
If you haven't been to San Diego, I highly recommend giving it a visit. We didn't end up going to Balboa Park which is one of the must go to places but below are some of the places we dined at and things to do.
